Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you’ll be greeted by your guide, who will provide you with an introduction to your upcoming safari adventure. After a brief briefing, you'll embark on the scenic drive to Aberdare National Park, located around 3.5 to 4 hours away. As you make your way through the lush, hilly terrain, you’ll pass by coffee plantations and small towns, arriving at Aberdare Country Club in the late afternoon. This charming lodge, nestled within the Aberdare Mountain Range, provides an intimate experience with nature. After checking in and having lunch, you can relax or enjoy a short game drive within the park. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to a viewing area where you can observe elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife that come to drink from the waterholes, all while enjoying the stunning mountain backdrop. Dinner is served at the lodge, followed by a restful evening.

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll check out of Aberdare Country Club and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, a 3 to 4-hour drive south. Known for its flamingo-filled shores and rhino sanctuary, Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s most famous parks. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at The Cliff, Lake Nakuru, a luxurious lodge perched on a cliff with panoramic views over the lake and surrounding landscapes. After settling in, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the lake before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its stunning birdlife, particularly its large populations of flamingos, but you'll also have the chance to see lions, giraffes, and the elusive black rhino. In the evening, return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner, where you can reflect on the day’s wildlife sightings.
On the fourth day of your safari, after breakfast, you’ll check out of The Cliff and head towards the picturesque Lake Naivasha, just a 1.5-hour drive away. Lake Naivasha, with its tranquil waters and lush surroundings, is one of the most beautiful lakes in Kenya. Upon arrival, you’ll check in to Sawela Lodge, a lakeside retreat offering comfortable cottages and spectacular views of the lake. After lunch, you’ll embark on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll have the chance to observe hippos lounging in the water, as well as various bird species such as Pelicans, Kingfishers, and African Fish Eagles. You’ll also visit Crescent Island, a private sanctuary on the lake, where you can take a guided nature walk to see giraffes, zebras, and gazelles up close. Afterward, return to the lodge for dinner and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the lake.
After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll check out and begin your journey south to Amboseli National Park, a 5-hour drive from Lake Naivasha. Famous for its magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, Amboseli is home to vast herds of elephants and a wide variety of other wildlife. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Tortilis Camp, a luxury tented camp located just outside the park, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After lunch, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive in the park. Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems, including swamps and open plains, are home to elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and zebras, all set against the majestic backdrop of the mountain. In the evening, you’ll return to Tortilis Camp to enjoy a sundowner drink, followed by a gourmet dinner at the camp, with the view of the mountain and wildlife nearby.
On the sixth day, you’ll wake up early for a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, one of the best places in Kenya to see elephant herds up close. With your guide, you’ll explore the park’s swamps, grasslands, and woodland areas, all of which provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Apart from the famous elephants, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous bird species. After a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll continue your game drive, exploring the park’s less-travelled areas. This is also a great opportunity to spot wildlife that is more active in the cooler afternoon hours. In the late afternoon, return to Tortilis Camp for a relaxing dinner and a peaceful evening under the stars, with the towering Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
On the final day of your safari, you’ll enjoy one last morning game drive in Amboseli National Park. With the early morning light, the park is particularly beautiful, and you’ll have a final chance to see elephants and predators such as lions or cheetahs. Afterward, you’ll return to Tortilis Camp for breakfast, before checking out and beginning your drive back to Nairobi. The return journey takes about 4 to 5 hours, during which you can enjoy the scenic views of the African countryside. Upon arrival in Nairobi, your guide will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or at your hotel in Nairobi, marking the end of your unforgettable 7-day safari experience.
