Day 01 :
NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA
- You will be pick up by one of our representatives at the airport who will brief you on the safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure in Kenya.
- Commence on your drive to the west, past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve of about 3 to 4 hours drive. Arrive at the lodge/ camp lunch time and have yourlunch ready.
- Go for late afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge/ camp.
Day 02 :
MASAI MARA
- After breakfast you will spend the rest of the day in game watching on morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight.
- Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey.
- Every year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah - follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara.
- So, the Mara at this time is literally packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings of game.
- Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge/ camp.
Day 03 :
MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
- On this day you can have an optional hot-air balloon flight which has been introduced because of the calm early morning air at the Masai Mara. It is available as an optional tour to see the park from bird’s- eye view from leading lodges and camps in the reserve.
- You can go on a pre- breakfast morning game drive in the reserve. It is the great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna on this magnificent reserve.
- After rewarding game drive, return to the lodge/ camp for late morning breakfast.
- After lunch, go on late afternoon game viewingdrive.
- Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.
Day 04 :
MAASAI MARA- NAIROBI-DIANI
- After early morning breakfast, you will be picked our driver/ representative and you will be
- transferred back to Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, 3 hours before your scheduled
- domestic flight to Diani.
Day 01 :
DIANI
- You will be picked by one of our representatives at Moi International Airport who will brief you on the pre- tour on the coast.
- You will be transferred to the hotel/resort where you have your late lunch ready
- . You will have a rest at the hotel or go evening beach walks. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/resort
- After an early morning breakfast, your driver transfers you to Shimoni south of Diani where you will be registered and then be allowed to take a boat excursion to Kisite-Mpunguti and Wasini Island.
- These boats are operated by the locals who are very knowledgeable in as far as Marine life in Indian ocean is concerned. At Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, you may have an opportunity to see Dolphins, see fish species, Coral reefs among others.
- While at this marine park, you are free to jump out of the boat for swimming, snorkelling or relax in the middle of the ocean.
- After your visit to this Marine National Park, you will take your boat to Wasini Island where avariety of dishes are served. You will have a chance to test see food and fish as well as local juice prepared by women on this Island restaurant.
- Wasini Island restaurant is an example of how marine tourism is contributing to the development of the locals. All the proceeds from the sell of meals go to community projects. The locals here will also share with you their culture which is very amazing.
- After lunch, you will transfer by boat to Shimoni and then back to your Beach resort hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight
Day 03 :
SHIMBA HILLS DAY SAFARI
- After early breakfast, you will be picked by one of our drivers in comfortable cruiser. The drive to Shimba Hills National Reserve takes you through scenic landscape, including rolling hills, lush vegetation and glimpse of local villages.
- Upon reaching, the entrance, you will be greeted by the rangers who will issue you with entry tickets. Shimba Hills National Reserve is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including the endangered Sable Antelopes, buffaloes, warthogs and wide varieties of bird species.
- You will be transferred back to the hotel for lunch. Late in the afternoon you can go beach walks.
- Dinner and overnight at hotel resort
- After breakfast you will be checked out the hotel and you will be picked our driver. Head straight to the 16th– Century Fort Jesus and old town, known for its cobblestone lanes lined with historic mosque and traditional homes.
- Visit a local market ‘Marikiti’ and drive through Elephant Tusks on the Moi Avenue. Watch Akamba woodcarvers create one-of-a-kind work of art.
- Enjoy your lunch overlooking the sea at one of the restaurants before continuing to the Moi International Airport for your scheduled international flight.
- That will the end of your trip; 3Nights Masai Mara and 3Nights Diani.
